In recent years, significant progress has been made in the development of education in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Thus, concrete measures are taken to raise the level of higher education in our republic, the material and technical base of educational institutions is modernized and the application of modern information and communication technologies is being expanded. This is aimed at modernizing the education system based on international best practices and creating a successful management model in educational institutions, creating information systems and reporting systems to ensure the quality of education and management.

Significant steps in the sphere of the development of education were also made at the Azerbaijan Medical University. In accordance with the material and technical support of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, large-scale measures are being implemented; the legal and regulatory framework for education has been improved. One of these measures is to hold a winter session using computers in 2011-2012.

Examination center of the Azerbaijan Medical University (formerly the Virtual Test Center), located on the 2nd floor of the 5th building of the University, conducts examination sessions, state certification, trainings and other necessary events using the built-in computer equipment.

The Center has developed a server infrastructure, consisting of special software tools, created intellectual protection of the system from any external cybercrime. The process of managing test banks, the selection of tests from the bank is carried out electronically.

The examination center has all conditions for an objective and "transparent" conduct of the examination process at all stages. In addition, the Center provides support to the Appeals Commission, established at the University to consider problems that may arise during the exams.
