Nazim Adil Panahov was born on 6th December, 1971.
In 1978-1988 he studied at the secondary school No. 31 in Baku, and in 1988 he graduated from secondary school with a Gold Medal.
In the same year he entered the dental faculty of the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute and during his studies received a scholarship named after. N. Narimanov in 1993. In 1993 he graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University with honors.
In 1993-1995 N. Panahov worked as a clinical resident at the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry of Azerbaijan Medical University. From 1996-1999 he worked as a Postgraduate student at this department, in 2000-2008 as an Assistant. Since 2008 he is an Associate Professor.
Since 2017 he is the head of the department of orthopedic dentistry.
In 2003 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine; in 2009 he received the title of Associate Professor. In 2014 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences.
N. Panahov is the author of more than 90 scientific papers, including textbooks, teaching aids, educational and methodological recommendations and rationalization proposals.
Since 7th November, 2016 he is scientific secretary of AMU. |
